Origin-8 Mixer Frameset
In North America we say “MIX-ty”, but in France where it originated the word is pronounced “MEExt”, meaning “mixed” or “unisex”. Both pronunciations are widely used now. What is the Mixer made for you might ask? Any kind of road rides, club rides, fitness rides, weekend touring, loaded touring, commuting, double track trails, and other light off-road. The Mixer is a VERY versatile bike. It can clear 700 x 52c or 29 x 2.1″ tires, utilizes full butted chromoly construction and has excellent stand over clearance. both rack and fender eyelets are incorporated on the frame and fork so commuting and all weather riding is no problem for the Mixer. If you have some flexibility issues the Mixer is super easy to get on and off with needing to swing a leg high over it to get on. The Mixer kit includes the chromoly frame and fork with a seat collar and down tube barrel adjusters. It is setup for anything from a single to a triple front chainring and uses a 1 1/8″ threadless headset and a 27.2mm seatpost.
